David Bade
With great aplomb, David Bade (1970, Willemstad Curacao) conquered the Dutch art world in 1993. He produces abundant images, drawing on many sources: sport, politics, art, sex. "Less is a bore"would be an appropriate motto for him. His critical, poetic drawings and paintings were liberating, and his sculptures made of trash and polyurethane faom became trendsetters. His art has been described as 'muscular'.
